Development Committee

Members: Jessica Beckendorf, Dan Burich, Dave Martin, Fred Monique, Ryon Savasta, Quasan Shaw, Gene Hackbarth, Nic Sparracio, Pete Roland

The Development Committee, headed by Greg Polacheck, is working with Mayor Jim Schmitt & Derek Lord, Green Bay’s Economic Development Director on drafting an overview plan for the Military Avenue District.  The goal is to conduct a series of interviews with area businesses and residents to determine a vision for the Military Avenue District.

The City of Green Bay seeks consulting services

to help insure that this investment becomes the catalyst for continued reinvestment along this important west-side corridor. The consultant selected for this project will help the City create a market-based strategic vision and implementation plan that is founded on sound market analysis and extensive community input. The end product will be a tool that the City and stakeholders can use to market the district to new businesses, give needed confidence to current business and property owners considering reinvestment, and provide City Officials with a guiding document when considering future projects that will have a major impact on the built and social environment that makes up the Military Avenue Business District.
