Mike Cuene called the meeting to order at 12:00 noon at the Bay Family Restaurant
Meeting Time and Place
It was decided that the Association would meet monthly, the third Thursday of the month at 12:00 noon at Bay Family Restaurant, until such time as we have outgrown the facility or the meeting room is needed by other customers.
Mission/Vision
The vision of MABA is to enhance our business climate and mission is to work with both the private and public sectors to encourage growth and economic development through commercial and residential development, civic and social activities, and improvements in the general welfare of Military Avenue.
Financial/Membership Dues
Preliminary association start-up expenses were discussed. Most of the expenses thus far have been covered by organizers at minimal or no charge.
The dues structure was approved as follows:
Property Tax Assessed Value Less Than $400,000 - $250 annual dues
Property Tax Assessed Value Greater Than $400,000 - $500 annual dues
Property non-owners: $100 annual dues
